Is Valor Mortis on Game Pass?
Yes. Xbox Wire confirms Valor Mortis joined Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on 13 October 2026, day one. The base game is included; Deluxe add-ons and the PS Plus Premium trial have separate terms.
Which Game Pass tier includes it?
The 7 October Xbox Wire announcement explicitly names Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for the 13 October launch. The current US Xbox listing also shows the base game included with Game Pass.
| Membership | Verified access |
|---|---|
| Game Pass Ultimate | Included base game on supported Xbox, PC and cloud devices |
| PC Game Pass | Included base game on Windows through the Xbox app |
| Game Pass Premium / Essential | Store says a game purchase is required for streaming; no included launch entitlement established |
| PS Plus Premium | Separate PS5 1.5-hour full-game trial; not a Game Pass membership |
Membership catalogs and regional access can change. These are the official offers checked on 14 October 2026, not a guarantee of lifetime availability.
Install on PC or Xbox, or stream
- For PC Game Pass, sign into the Windows Xbox app with the subscriber account, search for Valor Mortis and use the included installation entitlement.
- For Xbox Series X|S with Ultimate, find the game in your Game Pass library and install it.
- For cloud, open the title through Xbox Cloud Gaming on a supported device and account. The store confirms inclusion with Ultimate; Premium or Essential streaming requires a separately purchased game.
A PC Game Pass entitlement is not a Steam key. The Steam version is purchased and installed through Steam. Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud saves are Xbox features, not proof of cross-save with Steam or PS5.
Xbox One is not listed as a native installation platform for this game. Account-based cloud access is a separate route and depends on supported devices, service regions and connectivity.
Base game, Deluxe and access duration
The included listing is the base game. The Xbox store sells Deluxe Edition Upgrade separately at $19.99 in the checked US region. Its 2027 story DLC and scheduled cosmetic packs are not established as included subscription benefits.
This is catalog access, not a one-day giveaway. No departure date for Valor Mortis was found in the checked Xbox Wire announcement. Access can end when the membership ends or the title leaves the catalog; a purchased DLC upgrade does not replace ownership or entitlement to the base game. See edition contents and prices.
What PS Plus Premium provides
The US PS5 listing offers a 1.5-hour full-game trial with PS Plus Premium. It also identifies PS5 and PS Portal cloud streaming support with Premium. The listing does not establish the base game as an unrestricted PS Plus catalog inclusion.
Game Pass and PS Plus Premium belong to different platform ecosystems. Compare the trial with the retired Steam demo; neither should be described as a free permanent license.
